JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for articulate, energetic people who are able to build successful, profitable business relationships. Ideally you should have sales experience within the corporate/commercial banking or financial sector, however, those from a background in sales and with a flair for numbers may also apply. You should be prepared to work hard travelling throughout the UK converting new business leads for commercial and corporate finance. Full product training will be provided.

Flexible.

WHO SHOULD APPLY
This position would suit those people working as employees of banks and financial companies who wish to start earning money for themselves instead of their employers. Perhaps you work for a residential mortgage provider, accountant or surveyor and have commercial finance leads that you would like to earn commission from but don't know where to go? The hours are flexible, so the opportunity exists for successful candidates to work part time on their days off or after work to build up an income stream before leaving full time employment.

Alternatively, those candidates from a background in sales who feel they can hit the ground running on a full time basis are also welcome to apply.

COMMISSION:
The standard commission payable to all sales agents is 50% of the Broker Fee. The standard Broker Fee is 1%, but can be as much as 5% depending on the difficulty of the case.

Example:
If the agent manages to sign a Commercial Mortgage worth £800k with a Broker Fee of 1%, the total commission earned by the Broker will be:

  • Total Commission = £800k x 1% = £8,000
  • Sales Agent Commission = £8,000 x 50% = £4,000

On Target Earnings:
A full time Sales Agent should earn more than £40k pa, however the opportunity exists for dynamic and resourceful agents to earn substantially more.

NOTES:
THE BROKER FEE IS PAYABLE BY THE CLIENT ON PRESENTATION OF A FORMAL OFFER FROM THE LENDER. THE COMMISSION PAYABLE TO THE SALES AGENT WILL BE FORWARDED IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIPT OF THE FEE FROM THE CLIENT. THE NORMAL LEAD TIME FROM RECEIPT OF A PROPOSAL BY THE LENDER TO PAYMENT OF COMMISSION IS 6-10 WEEKS, BUT CAN BE LONGER
